A poor leader will often see conflict/disagreement as a personal attack on them, but this is rarely the case. It is often people with passion speaking up or maybe burned out. Whether or not they’re right, hear them out. Its about relation-ships not being right-ships. Link

If you stamp on disagreement as a leader you’ve shut down most of the ways you’ll learn things that don’t fit with your current worldview (and thereby probably don’t deserve to be called a leader)… Link
There’s a story that in the GM exec suite, the CEO once refused to approve a plan until he heard disagreement among his execs. I think there’s tremendous wisdom in that. Link
