Trucks will help in three key processes of cleaning sewers; jetting, grabbing and rodding.

Entrepreneurship for manual scavengers:
Owner of the trucks can can earn Rs 2 lakh every month. Government is the guarantor for the loan.
Each cleaning truck costs INR 35 lakhs. Under the NDA government’s Stand Up India scheme, the State Bank of India sanctioned loans to acquire these sewer cleaning machines.
