Delhi came 2nd overall, and it has the best roads. It’s a good news, but please drive safely. Last year nearly 1600 people from Delhi died of road accidents.
Key Findings from the Ease of Moving Index, 2018:
Kolkata is at the top of a list.
The list ranks New Delhi and Chennai number two and three.
Bengaluru and Mumbai fare the worst among the large metros.
60% of respondents report using public transport. 80% are willing to leave private transport if public transport is good and affordable.
3/4th of the people are not happy with the current transport system.
