It has prominent names such as player P V Sindhu, actors Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pedenkar, businesswoman Ananya Birla ( daughter of Kumarmangalam Birla).
Not so prominent names are Kamath brothers of Zerodha, P C Musthafa of I D Foods and Girish Matrubotham of Freshworks.
There are five people from Delhi-NCR:
Zorawar Kalra: He is founder of Massive Restaurants. It contains 26 restaurants and 9 brands such as Masala Library and Farzi Cafe.
Siddharth Bindra: He joined his mother’s business. Today Biba’s revenue is INR 500 crore. It also controls 1% of the market.
Ritesh Aggarwal: When he founded Oyo Rooms in 2013, he was just 19. Today it is poised to become a $ 2bn brand.
Ankur Jain: He single handedly started the craft beer phenomenon in India. Bira is the market leader, with a turnover of INR 165 crore in 2017.
Anant Goenka: Though he is a 3rd generation entrepreneur, he has infused a new life in The Indian Express ( 130 million monthly views). He has helped it adopt digital, which fetched a revenue of INR 75 crores.
