It operates in 23 countries, offering 75 types of helmets in two flagship brands; Studds and SMK
Studds is 35 years old. Madhu Bhushan Khurana, Chand Khurana, Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana started Studds in 1983.
It’s FY18 turnover was more than INR 227 crores. It has filed for an IPO in August, 2018.
Steelbird: 2nd best
It manufactures more than 10,000 helmets every day, from six plants.
It operates in 50 countries, selling 47 types of helmets, through four flagship brands.
It’s 48 years old. Shubhash Kapoor started it in in 1964.
It’s FY18 turnover was more than INR 200 crore.
