India’s first WiFi in the sky

Now Indian flyers can use their smartphones, tablets and gadgets to log on to the internet while flying.

Spicejet flyers will be the first one to log on to internet while flying. Service will start by November, 2018.

• It will use satellite communication antennas to access the internet in the air.

• It will be free of cost, though there will be ads. Other international airlines charge fees.

• Till date the government policy does not allow internet in the planes.
