Prime Minister Modi appointed a council of ministers for the second term. He chose 57 ministers — 24 of cabinet rank, 9 ministers of state with independent charge, and 24 ministers of state.
The top 6 ministries and its ministers, which will affect the businesses of Delhi-NCR are as following.
Nitin Gadkari is Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. In his last tenure he had invited investment of more than INR 60,000 crore to develop infrastructure of Delhi-NCR. He will continue with more projects.
Rajnath Singh is Minister of Home Affairs. Delhi-NCR is a group of sister cities from different states. Law and order is a challenge. It should be his priority.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal is Minister of Food Processing Industries. The region has the potential to become the food business capital of India. From the traditional agricultural businesses to the new age direct to consumer brands, Delhi is poised to be the leader.
