Yes Plz is a small coffee business in LA. Tony and Sumi started it in 2018. Earlier they had shocked the speciality coffee world with 1$ coffee. Yes Plz aims to make gourmet coffee accessible to home brewers. They ship a new blend every week to its subscribers. They will ship their 111th ‘Happy New Year’ blend tomorrow.
Tony, who is also popular as Tonx, said in an interview to NYT, “Coffee still thinks that mass appeal is a sign of selling out and inauthenticity, but everybody wears Levi’s,” he said of the culture. “I think contemporary coffee has failed to find the consumers it should be finding.”
