Karthik scratched his own itch to start a South Indian food business in Gurgaon.

• In 2014 Karthik started Iddly Facktory because he did not get quality South Indian food in Gurgaon. It took him two years to kickstart.

• They are delivery only business. They deliver to businesses directly. It’s 90% of their business. Retail customers can order through apps such as Swiggy and Zomato.

• In the beginning Karthik had to fight casteism. When Amit, joined, Karthik’s crew left. Amit came forward and learnt everything from buying vegetables and cooking. He is building the team now.

• We require more small businesses to cook authentic regional dishes
