A 19 year old runs a successful food cart
19 years old Avinash Kashyap set up his street food cart in Ludhiana. He wanted to support his mother, as his father had died. He wants to be a photographer.
After passing 10th standard he looked for work. He could not find work. He apprenticed with his uncle, who is a ‘halwai’ (professional sweet maker) in Amritsar. He returned and set up a street food cart. He sells kulcha (sour bread), nutrinugget curry and vegetable biryani. He compliments his family and friends for the support. On a typical day he gets up early to source food ingredients for the cart. One day he wants to succeed as a photographer.
Harry Uppal produces videos of such street food entrepreneurs. His channel ‘Aapka Apna Hariya’ publishes videos every week. He said in the video, “ While going viral on social media is an achievement for this generation, there are few, who toil day in and day out to succeed.”
Thanks Harry for such wonderful and inspiring videos. Visit Avinash if you go to Ludhiana.
