More than 50% of India’s economy is services economy

Working from home is inevitable for service economy workers due to the lockdown. More than 50% of India’s economy is services economy.
FT Columnist Edwin Heathcote has been working from home for the past 25 years. He is an architect by training and a writer. He suggest that working from home requires few things. One, workers should occupy a dedicated space, which should not be used for other household chores such as eating. Two, workers should be able to work on a table/ desk, sitting in a comfortable chair. Three, the working area should be away from the disturbing noises. Four, access to good lights and windows help. Five, if possible workers should work by closing the door, as other family members do not behave like the office colleagues. Six, clothes do not matter. Wear the pyjamas.
