It has tied up with 200 stores to deliver flowers, vegetables and fruits.
Stores include, Super Needs Market, Le Marche, Licious, Zappfresh.com, Fernsnpetals, Apollo Pharmacy.
Aren’t Big Basket and Grofers delivering the same?
Unlike Grofers and Big Basket it is partnering with existing stores. Both own warehouses to service the customers.
It is similar to food delivery model, where they pick up food from restaurants and deliver to customers.
The bigger picture:
Small businesses and independent grocery stores will get more business.
The similar approach did not work for Grofers. It had to shift to warehouse model.
