Burman Hospitality has become the master franchise of Taco Bell for India.
It plans to open 600 Taco Bell outlets in the next ten years. It currently operates 35 outlets. Taco Bell competes with the market leader Domino’s ( 1200 outlets), Mcdonald’s ( more than 400), Pizza Hut ( more than 400)B, and KFC ( more than 350).
As per estimates by 2021, Indian quick service restaurant segment will be more than INR 24,000 crore, while the food services segment will be INR 5 lakh crore. It currently employs 73 lakh people.
Local entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to be part of the growth as Burman Hospitality can give sub-franchises.
